BEAUTY: Updated Morning Skincare Routine

I’m very much a lazy person when it comes to daytime skincare. This is usually because I’m putting it on before 8am and am half asleep, so it needs to be quick and easy. The little routine I have now is done in under five minutes from start to finish, but leaves my skin feeling pampered and hydrated which is great as the temperature drops towards Winter.

Starting with cleanser, I’m quite partial to the Balance Me Cleanse and Smooth Face Balm which I spend a good 30-60 seconds massaging in on a morning. The balm makes skin feel so soothed and really melts onto skin, cleansing it and leaving it soft and hydrated.

I’ve really been upping my toner use recently and the REN Clarifying Toning Lotion has been my favourite one to use during the day. I apply a small amount to cotton wool and sweep it around my skin (including the eye area) and concentrate on any blemishes. These exfoliating toners really do help skin clarity and overall radiance!

I then apply my favourite eye cream which is the Zelens Triple Action Advanced Eye Cream, which I’m nearly at the end of! It’s honestly helped my eye area so much in the last few months I’ve been using it, lifting my dark circles and really smoothing my eye area. The skin around my eyes is so hydrated now and need to buy a new tub ASAP.

Finally, I mix a drop of Pai Rosehip Bioregenerate Facial Oil into the Claudia Louch Botanical Face Cream with Deep Line Complex. Now, I may not have any deep lines (being only 24!) but it’s a great hydrating moisturiser that’s light enough for my combination skin. It really pampers your skin, especially with the oil added, and makes my skin feel protected all day.
