It’s very rare that I buy an single eyshadow now. Infact, bar the MAC paint pots, I genuinely can’t remember the last time I did. It’s just so handy to have all the shades you’d need in one compact place, isn’t it? So, in today’s post I’m sharing my favourite eyeshadow palettes which you can pick up for fellow makeup lovers for Christmas (or for yourself, I won’t tell anyone).
I’ll start at the top with the Clinique All About Shadow Quad in shade Morning Java, which is one of the prettiest from the range. It has all you need for a day-to-day look and a bit extra to jazz it up for a nighttime, plus the purple and rich gold tones are just perfect for Christmas!
Next is the Smashbox Photo Op Eye Shadow Palette in Smokebox, a one to look out for if you like your smokey eyes. It has three more wearable, daytime shades in there plus three to add definition and drama to the eyes. The packaging is quite compact too, so it’s perfect to throw in your bag and apply after office hours. I love the formula of these shadows too, as they’re extremely pigmented!
Up next are naturally my favourites (and every other blogger ever), the Charlotte Tilbury Colour-Coded Eyeshadow Palettes. I have shades The Dolce Vita, which is a more gold themed palette (that metallic-glitter shade – I die!) and Vintage Vamp, which is more on the berry side. Very sleek, very luxe, very beautiful. I literally adore these as they blend like a dream and are the perfect mix of colours!
I’ve talked about this one before in my Winter Makeup Favourites post, but the new Bobbi Brown Mini Eyeshadow Palette is just perfect. Ideal for those who like their nudes on the more nude side (as opposed to strong metallic shades and smokey tones) but there really is something in there for everyone!
Finally, on the more purse friendly scale of things, the MeMeMe The Ultimate Eye Palette gives the Urban Decay Naked Palette a run for its money. There’s everything in there, from champagne shades to rich golds to a black you can use to line the eyes (plus a mix of shimmer and matte!). It’s a really pretty palette and one worth throwing in just for the pigmentation and shades alone!
